Since Torola is such a small place, things never get too busy at city hall. The current mayor has done an excellent job of choosing good employees and making sure they get their work done, meaning he has time to travel around the community and visit people. This morning, after a family came in to get some documents they needed, he volunteered to drive them back to their house so that they wouldn't have to walk.

In the afternoon, he had a couple of meetings, signed several documents, helped the maintenance guy do some clean up, then sat down in the waiting area talking to various people who were coming through to pay taxes or get documents printed.

Though he is not always able to accommodate them, the people of Torola are never ashamed to ask him for a favor. They know that he will always help out if he is able to.
